Slimline 16-inch laptop features 11th gen Intel Core processors and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU

MSI has launched the MSI Creator Z16, a new 16-inch laptop designed for ‘creators’. This includes architectural visualizers, who use applications like V-Ray, Unreal Engine and Enscape, as well as photographers, video editors, and graphic designers.

The laptop features a choice of 11th Gen Intel Core H series processors, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPU with Nvidia Studio drivers, up to 64GB memory and up to 4TB of storage spread across two M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSDs.

Compared to previous generation MSI laptops, the MSI Creator Z16 has a much more premium look and feel. The slimline 16mm chassis is made from CNC-milled aluminum with a ‘Lunar Gray’ finish and laser etched logo. The laptop weighs 2.2kg.

The MSI Creator Z16 has a 16-inch QHD+ (2,560 x 1,600) 120Hz IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio that offers 11% more viewing space than a standard 16:9.

According to MSI, the panel’s ‘True Pixel technology’ produces the most accurate-possible colours and is hardware calibrated in the factory to give 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Other features of the MSI Creator Z16 include Wi-Fi 6E, a 90Whr long-lasting battery with fast-charge technology, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, two USB Type-A ports, and a micro SD card slot.

MSI also launched the MSI Creator 17, which features a wider choice of GPUs up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 and a 17.3″ UHD (3,840 x 2,160) display.
