New 17.3-inch and 21.5-inch pen displays join 27-inch model to expand Cintiq product line

Wacom has launched the Cintiq Pro 17 and Cintiq Pro 22, two new additions to its interactive pen display product line-up that share the same technology as the recently introduced Cintiq Pro 27.

With colour-accurate displays capable of producing 1.07 billion colours, 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, both products include the customisable Wacom Pro Pen 3.

The Cintiq Pro 17 offers a compact 17.3-inch display, while the Cintiq Pro 22 features a 21.5-inch screen for those who need more screen real estate.

Both displays offer eight Express Keys along their back edges, which users can customise according to their preferred shortcuts. Additional customisation can be found with the multi-touch gesture support, allowing the programming of specific gestures as shortcuts or virtual buttons for added workflow efficiency.

Colour coverage includes 100% Rec.709, and 99% DCI-P3 coverage — the colour gamuts used most frequently in video, film and broadcast production. Both products also have Pantone Validated and Pantone SkinTone Validated certifications.

Wacom says that in many cases, with this level of accuracy, the need for a second reference monitor is eliminated from colour-critical workflows.

The Cintiq Pro 17 is available now and is priced at £2,349.99. The Cintiq Pro 22 will be priced at £2,849.99 and is scheduled for availability from December 2023, according to the company.
